Football’s governing body president’s speech again drew backlash, with Mr Infantino urging women to fight for change, addressing the FIFA Women’s Football Convention: I tell all women that you have the power to change. Choose the right battles. Pick the right fights. You have the power to change. You have the power to convince us men of what we must do.

Former Ballon d’Or winner Ada Hegerberg took the lead in the responses, mocking on Twitter: “I’m working on a little presentation to convince the men. Who’s leaving ? »
